Bio/Description
Christopher is a public policy professional who most recently worked in the Australian federal Department of the Treasury’s climate change team where he worked on implementing a baseline and credit emissions trading scheme in Australia. Prior to that, he worked across the field of financial regulation, both at the Treasury and at Australia’s securities regulator. Christopher started his career at Australia’s central bank, monitoring financial stability and financial market infrastructures. Christopher is interested in examining the various interactions between financial sector issues and public policy, including how the financial sector is contemplated in economic policy, as well as the different approaches to the governance and regulation of financial institutions.
