Bio/Description

I have a range of experience working in the UK and overseas, particularly in the UK Treasury where I have worked on domestic and international economic and fiscal policy issues. These include managing public spending issues across Defense, Education and Aid, leading policy work on Financial regulation and also leading for the Treasury on economic policy cooperation with China, India and Brazil. My most recent role in the the UK treasury was as Deputy Director, International Financing and Development, where I had responsibility for UK spending on ODA, international debt policy, IMF policy and development finance issues. I have also spent time in the UK's DFID, where I was a senior private sector development adviser, led high profile work on infrastructure financing and worked closely with the Government of Jordan on its growth agenda. I also lived and worked in Liberia, West Africa through 2014 and 2015, where I worked with the Finance Minister and his team on economic development, as well as supporting the Government through the West Africa Ebola Crisis.
