
Sharon was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce with honours in economics from the University of Melbourne in 2013. Upon graduating, Sharon joined the Reserve Bank of Australia as an economist and has worked there for the past several years on economic and financial system analysis and forecasting. Her research and professional interests are in labour markets, inequality and financial stability. Sharon spent the past summer (winter in Australia!) prior to Princeton wrapping up some research projects at work, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of the café culture in Melbourne. Upon completion of the MPA program at Princeton, Sharon is eager to apply new skills and knowledge to economic policymaking in Australia.
