Sebastian Lawrence is finalizing his undergraduate degree at the University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI Mona). He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics. His areas of interest include economic research, youth empowerment and sustainable development.

Sebastian is an avid volunteer who currently serves as the President of the League of Future Economists. He is also actively involved in the Debating Society at the UWI Mona where he has represented the University in international and local competitions. He is the inaugural recipient of the Edward Seaga Scholarship for Economics and is also the recipient of the 2022 Governor-General's Achievement Award.
