Department: Economics
Certificate(s): Statistics/Machine Learning, Urban Studies, and Political Economy
Research Interest: I study and research housing policies and conditions in the United States, especially with a focus on government interventions to improve welfare. For example, my junior independent work examines the efficacy of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit. I work as an RA at Prof. Matthew Desmond's Eviction Lab on campus, and I have worked internships at the Legal Aid Society of Cincinnati and the Urban Institute as well. In the future, I hope to continue working within or in coordination with State, Local, and Federal governments to address housing insecurity and general economic development within the US.
Hobbies: I greatly enjoy cooking, baking, and bartending as well as watching hockey and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH
