Saied Beckford is graduate of Rutgers University – Newark where he earned his BA in Economics and Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Social Justice. Following such, he will be attending Columbia University in the City of New York in Fall 2021 to pursue his MA in Statistics. Mr. Beckford’s research interests range from machine learning and economics, regulation of financial institutions, monetary theory and policy, and law and economics. He hopes to one day pursue his PhD in Economics at a top research institution which allows him to creatively explore and investigate these topics and what intersection they might have.
