Rias Reed is currently pursuing a Master in Public Affairs with a concentration in International Development at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, with an interest in development finance and climate finance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to his studies at Princeton, Rias worked with a Texas-based nonprofit, developing affordable housing solutions for veterans and senior citizens. Over the summer, he expanded his understanding of global financial systems through an internship at a think tank in Japan, where he researched the nation’s contributions to international development, economic diplomacy, and transitions to green energy. Rias is excited to further explore how financial markets can drive sustainable development and resilience in vulnerable economies.
