Certificate(s): Global Health Policy & Health Policy and History and the Practice of Diplomacy
Research Interest: History has shown us through the events such as the Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis, Henrietta Lacks, and the Nuremberg trials that policies need to be emplaced to continually address and protect the rights of the lower income and BIPOC in public healthcare policy. I believe understanding the financial decisions that uphold the healthcare system and how finance correlates with the intersections of civil rights and medical policy in healthcare will aid me in creating public policies that improve how youth and adults in undeserving communities access medical care, increasing the socioeconomic opportunities for underserved communities.
Hobbies: One of my hobbies is taking nature walks and hikes. Along with this, I love watching anime and TV dramas. I am interested in prison abolition and education reform.
