Bio/Description
Owen M. Zidar is an Associate Professor of Economics and Public Affairs in the Princeton University Department of Economics and the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He studies the taxation of firms and top earners, local fiscal policy, and the creation and distribution of economic profits. Before joining Princeton, he worked as an assistant professor of economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a staff economist at the Council of Economic Advisers, and as an analyst at Bain Capital Ventures. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
