Research interest: I'm interested in how governments can utilize incentives and deterrents (such as taxes, tax credits, government financing, etc.) to encourage private market players to act more in line with the overarching goals of the government. I wrote my junior paper on the 421-a Affordable Housing program in New York and its failed successor, 485-w. I will write my senior thesis on New York City's Local Law 97, which is a policy aimed at reducing building emissions.
