Research Interest: The economic and political development of Central Asia. I have a region specific interest in Central Asia because of my time spent there, but I am also interested in Russian speaking countries in general including Eastern Europe. In addition, I think that Turkey is very interesting immerging market and would like to learn more about the Turkish political system and economy.
