Bio/Description

Lira Mota was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at  Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy & Finance at Princeton University. Her research interests center around asset pricing and macrofinance, and focuses on topics such as the consequences of the demand for safe assets, the role of non-financial firms as financial agents, the drivers of the cross-section of risk and return, and information in financial markets. Lira Mota received her Ph.D. in financial economics from Columbia University. In fall 2022 she will join the faculty at the MIT Sloan School of Management as an Assistant Professor in Finance.
