
Dr. Karim Nchare is a Senior Lecturer in Econometrics and Economics at Vanderbilt University. He held the position of Assistant Professor of Economics at the African School of Economics and was a Visiting Research Scholar in the Department of Politics at Princeton University. He has advanced skills in quantitative research methods including econometric analysis of time series, cross-section, and panel data. His research interests include the development of causal inference and nonparametric methods in presence of censoring, misreporting, and measurement errors with applications to Development Economics, and Policy Evaluations. Dr. Nchare received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University with a concentration in Econometrics. He also holds an MSc in Applied Statistics from Ecole Normale Superieure de Statistiques et d’Economie Appliquee (ENSEA), and an MSc in Economics from the University of Montreal. He is fluent in English and French.
