Kantheera Tipkanjanarat is pursuing her Master in Public Affairs at the School of Public and International Affairs. Previously, she served as an economist in a major regional bank in Southeast Asia and the Thai central bank, where she analyzed and forecasted macroeconomic conditions and fiscal policy impacts. She developed her passion and found her way into international development after an assignment with Oxfam on sustainable agriculture and an internship with the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific on macroeconomic policy and financing for development.
She studied economics and finance at Thammasat University, Thailand, and graduated in 2016. After Princeton, she hopes to work in poverty and inequality alleviation.
