Research Interest: I study education policy, domestic election politics and law, federal fiscal policy, and 1st Amendment law. On campus I am a Student Associate in the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination, a fellow in the James Madison Program, and a member of the SPIA task force on Youth Mental Health & Education Policy, in which I am researching how the pedagogical structure of high school learning may affect student's mental health.
