Bio/Description
Carolina is a senior management team member at the UN Development Coordination Office leading communications and results reporting for the UN Resident Coordinator System. This entails supporting the heads of UN in over 130 countries where the needs for financing for sustainable development are ever more pressing. She also served as spokeswoman for the UN Mission in Colombia and has 24 years of experience in strategic communications, 18 of them at the United Nations. She is a SPIA MPP candidate ’25 and has a master’s degree in International Development (LSE) and an MBA from one of Brazil’s top institutions, Fundação Getúlio Vargas. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with basic German and French. She is a trained SURGE Advisor for Crisis Contexts and a Chevening Award Scholar (UK).
