Katie Becker is from Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Duke University in 2017. She is pursuing degrees in public affairs and law at Princeton SPIA and Yale Law School, respectively. Prior to graduate school, Katie worked at the University of North Carolina and Legal Aid of North Carolina. She wrote her undergraduate thesis on the tax contributions of undocumented immigrants in the United States. She is interested in public finance and poverty alleviation.
