Research interest: As an aspiring journalist, I believe producing and incorporating scholarly-level research and analysis into reporting has already and will continue to benefit consumers of news. In-depth reporting backed by research creates a more informed public and consequently, a more efficacious democracy. I hope to combine my passion for journalism and politics in order to understand political phenomena, write about them, and help lead to more informed, socially conscious, scalable public policy.

Hobbies: I want to explore the media, politics, and the intersection between the two. I also love soccer, film, and alternative music.
