Department: Economics
Honors, Awards, Prizes, Publications: I have interned at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond during the summer of 2022. I have two articles and a third will come out later this Fall. They are at https://bit.ly/FedArticles.
Research Interest: I am fascinated by the way economics research progresses. A human insight leads to a soul-searching within the discipline. That in turn changes the underlying mathematical models that inform future researchers and their impact on public policy. For example, the Lucas critique, underlying which is a very human insight - real people and real firms respond to public policy shocks - led to the development of the New Keynesian models (among others) that form the basis of modern macroeconomic research. I hope to contribute to this fascinating process.
Hobbies: I am a National Master in chess. It has been my passion since I was a kid.
