Globalization has fueled greater global economic growth but has also been a highly disruptive force that has fed the rise of populism, the deepening of income inequality, the rise of anti-immigrant sentiment and the increase in financial systemic risk. What is the future of globalization and what policies can meet its challenges?

These were the topics addressed at the JRCPPF 2018 conference “The Future of Globalization: Trade, Finance and Politics”  The conference took place on the Princeton campus on February 22 and 23rd, 2018.   World recognized experts on globalization that participated at the conference included:

Dani Rodrik, Ford Foundation Professor of International Economic Policy, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University

Hyun Song Shin, Economic Adviser and Head of Research, The Bank for International Settlements

Jaume Ventura,  Senior Researcher at Center de Recerca en Economia Internacional, Professor at UPF, and Barcelona GSE Research Professor
