2021 College Fed Challenge

When the six students from this year’s Federal Reserve College Challenge competition team graduate from Princeton, they’ll have checked a box not many undergraduates have: They joined a Zoom call with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.

As participants in the 2021 Fed Challenge, Leland Domaratzky (‘22, co-captain), Noah Harrigan (‘24), Allen Liu (‘22), Justin Ong (‘23), Shivani Prusty (‘23, co-captain), and Shirley Ren (‘24) invested countless hours studying and practicing to earn a spot in the competition semi-finals that were held virtually this year and attended briefly by Chair Powell. All together 27 Princeton undergraduates participated in this year’s challenge, preparing material that the six members of the competition team presented to the Federal Reserve staff. Read more...
