When the six students from this year’s Federal Reserve College Challenge competition team graduate from Princeton, they’ll have checked a box not many undergraduates have: They joined a Zoom call with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.

As participants in the 2021 Fed Challenge, Leland Domaratzky (‘22, co-captain), Noah Harrigan (‘24), Allen Liu (‘22), Justin Ong (‘23), Shivani Prusty (‘23, co-captain), and Shirley Ren (‘24) invested countless hours studying and practicing to earn a spot in the competition semi-finals that were held virtually this year and attended briefly by Chair Powell.
