Join us for a discussion with Professor Takatoshi Ito, an expert on international finance, macroeconomics, and the Japanese economy. He is currently a professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and previously he was Professor and Dean of the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo. Professor Ito has held many senior positions in the Japanese Ministry of Finance and at the International Monetary Fund. He has also served as a member of the Prime Minister's Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy. He has published extensively in academic journals, authored numerous books, and frequently contributes op-ed columns to the Financial Times and the Nihon Keizai Shinbun.
This discussion will be facilitated by Jean-Christophe de Swaan, Lecturer in Economics at Princeton University and affiliate of the Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy & Finance.
