The State of Abenomics

Professor Takatoshi Ito, expert on international finance, macroeconomics, and the Japanese economy, is currently a professor at School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Previously he was Professor at the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo. 

He has held many senior positions in the Japanese Ministry of Finance and at the International Monetary Fund.  He has also served as a member of Japan's Prime Minister's Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy. He has published extensively in academic journals, he is the author of many books and he frequently contributes op-ed columns in the Financial Times and the Nihon Keizai Shinbun.
