Philip Bennett is the First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He chairs the Operations Committee which reviews all investment and loan proposals before consideration by the Board of Directors and oversees the formulation of the Bank's strategy. Mr Bennett has more than 30 years of experience in the global financial markets, working primarily with Citigroup and its predecessor companies, Salomon Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr Bennett is a graduate of the University of North Carolina. He also holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a MBA from the University of Chicago.
