Lunch-timer with Sir John Vickers, Oxford University
Sir John Vickers, Professor of Economics at Oxford University and former Chief Economist of the Bank of England, will give a lunch time talk. Sir Vickers' research interests are in the economics of competition and regulation, incentive theory, and economics of banking reform. His current policy-related interests arise from his work in 2010-11 as chair of the Independent Commission on Banking which recommended fundamental reform to improve stability and competition in UK banking.
