This lively book traces 60 years of macroeconomic policy in the United States, from John F. Kennedy to Joe Biden, from William McChesney Martin to Jerome Powell. Alan Blinder is the Gordon S. Rentschler Memorial Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University, former vice-chair of the Federal Reserve Board, and former member of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers.
